insd: instant daemon
Insd is a simple tookit for creating C++ programs that run as daemons on Linux-based operating systems.
A
daemon is the term given to a background server process in Unix-like operating systems such as Linux.
This project is in its infancy. The code does the job but the documentation is incomplete.
Insd is distributed under the GPLv3 free software license. On request, we offer a commercial version which is
distributed under an alternative license which is more permissive for people who develop proprietory software.
